May
  • Christie Conover (soprano) sings "From Opera" with Littleton Symphony on Friday, May 18 at 7:30pm.
  • Altius Quartet plays Denver Eclectic Concerts Sunday, May 27 at 7PM.
April
  • Altius Gala Friday, April 13, 2018 at 7:30 PM in Boulder’s The Riverside. $40 per ticket includes awesome food, drinks (beers provided by Avery Brewing and Wonderland Brewing) and a silent auction to raise money for the Altius Quartet to tour China this summer.
  • Altius Quartet plays at Arts Longmont Arts on Friday, April 20 at 2:30 PM.
  • Eapen Leubner (tenor) and Mallory Bernstein (piano) perform on Denver Art Song Project's April Fool’s Songs!  Art Songs with a Punchline on April 20-22 at various venues in Denver.
  • Eapen Leubner (tenor) performs Leonard Bernstein Community Tribute Concert on April 23 at 7 p.m. Levin Hall, Boulder JCC.

MARCH
  • Nicolo Spera (guitar) March 11th and 12th, Grusin Hall with Takacs Quartet
  • ​Christie Conover (soprano) and Altius Quartet play at the Dairy Arts Center March 21

  • Josh DeVane (baritone) performs with Boulder Symphony in their production of La Traviata on March 24.

February 2018 
  • Nicolò Spera plays Feb 11, 7:30p at St. John's Church in Boulder and Feb 23rd, 7:30p at Little Tree concerts in Lafayette. 
  • Cody Garrison plays Liszt with Boulder Symphony on February 17 at 7pm.
  • Christie Conover sings Beethoven with the Boulder Chamber Orchestra Feb 23 & 24 in Boulder and Broomfield. She also sings Bach cantata 51 with Colorado Young Sinfonia on Feb. 25 in Lakewood and March 4 in Denver.
  • Josh DeVane sings Danilo in The Merry Widow with Loveland Opera February 24 to March 4.

January 2018
  • Ian Wisekal plays “Winter Winds” at Englewood Arts Center with CSO winds on January 20 at 2pm.

December 2017
  • Margaret Ozaki (soprano), tenor Eapen Leubner, and pianist Mallory Bernstein perform Outsiders with Denver Art Song Project Dec. 1.
  • ​Sara Parkinson conducts and Josh DeVane sings Cendrillon with Boulder Opera December 3, 8, 9 in Boulder and Longmont.
  • Joseph Gaines, Tenor Soloist Handel's MESSIAH (Part I) Saint John's Cathedral, Denver Saturday, December 9, 2017 at 7:30 p.m. Sunday, December 10, 2017 at 7:30 p.m.​
  • Christie Conover will be heard on Colorado Public Radio's Holiday Extravaganza to be aired at 10am and 7pm on Dec. 20 and available to stream online.

FTS Musicians performances fall 2017

November
  • Ian Wisekal (oboe) plays his faculty recital at DU on Sunday, Nov. 5 at 4:30pm in Hamilton Recital Hall. Tickets are $10, and he will be playing with Jason Shafer, principal clarinet of the CSO.
October
  • Josh DeVane (baritone) sings Danilo in CU Eklund Opera's Merry Widow October 27 & 29.
  • Margaret Ozaki (soprano) performs with Aurora Symphony Orchestra Oct 29 at 3pm at the Aurora Fox Arts Center.
  • Sarah Rushing (piano) presents her final DMA chamber recital on Sunday, October 15 at 7:30 in Grusin Hall on CU Boulder Campus. She will be joined by Sharon Park (violin), Zack Reeves (cello), and Stephanie Mientka (viola).

September
  • Sara Parkinson (piano) and Phillip Stevens (viola) present Clara and Company at the Lone Tree Arts Center on Wednesday, September 13 at 1:30p. Tickets are $18 and available through the website.
  • Christie Conover (soprano) and Beth Nielsen (piano) appear on the concert Women in Classical Music at the Dairy Center for Performing Arts Soundscape Series in Boulder. Wednesday, September 20 at 2pm. 
  • Jonathan Morris (piano) will play his DMA recital on Sunday, September 24 at 7:30 in Grusin Hall on CU Boulder Campus.

  • Cobus du Toit (flute) plays Rocky Ridge Music Center Faculty Recital on June 11 and July 23 both at 3:30 pm at Rocky Ridge Music Center, 465 Longs Peak Rd, Estes Park, CO

  • String trio, Pyxis Reckon will be perform with Life/Art Dance Ensemble on May 20 & 21 at D.L. Parson's Theatre in Thornton.
  • Soprano Margaret Ozaki and tenor Eapen Leubner perform On Wenlock Edge & Love Sweet with Boxwood Ensemble and Denver Art Song Project Tuesday, May 16 at 8:30p at St. Frances Cabrini, 6673 West Chatfield Ave in Littleton.
  • Ruth Carver reprises a favorite comic role (Marcellina) with the Boulder Symphony’s production of Le nozze di Figaro on May 13, 2017 07:00 PM.
  • Soprano Ruth Carver sings Pazzo di Te~ Crazy for You with pianist Steven Aguilo-Arbues at Applewood Valley United Methodist Church in Golden. May 02, 2017 06:30 PM Free will offering.
April Performances
  • Michael Hoffman sings the annual 2017 Orville Moore art song recital for Allied Arts, April 30th at 4:00 pm at the Washington Park Community Church of Christ: 400 S. Williams St. Denver. Tickets for the recital and a light supper are $35.
  • Cody Laun, tenor for May FTS, sings Mozart's C Minor Mass with Greeley Philharmonic Saturday, April 29 at 7:30p.
  • Margaret Ozaki sings Music for Soprano, Flute and Guitar: Free Concert in Wheat Ridge. Sunday, April 23 at 4 PM at Four Seasons Farmers & Artisans Market, 7043 W 38th Ave, Wheat Ridge.
  • Emily Murdock, James Baumgardner and pianist Steven Aguilo-Arbues appear in Central City Opera's tour of Ballad of Baby Doe on Friday, April 21 at 7pm. Applewood Valley United Methodist Church, 2035 Ellis Street, Golden, CO. Free will donation. AND at the Tabor Opera House in Leadville, CO on May 19th.
  • Mallory Bernstein, pianist, plays with Boxwood Ensemble, Wednesday, April 12 at 7:30pm at Artwork Network, 878 Santa Fe Dr, Denver.
  • Adam Ewing, baritone, sings his first faculty recital at Regis University. Wednesday, April 12 at 7:30pm, Claver Hall Recital Hall, Regis University (Entrance 4 on Lowell Blvd.)
  • Sarah Rushing plays her Doctoral Piano Chamber Recital Friday, April 14 at 4:30 PM in Grusin Hall, CU Boulder College of Music.

  • Meagan Mahlberg and Colleen White are featured with the CU Symphonic Orchestra as the Honors Concerto Competition Winners performing Lucia’s Mad Scene. Tuesday, February 14, 2017 in Macky Auditorium.
  • Emily Murdock sings the soprano solo in John Rutter's Mass of the Children with the Larimer Chorale in Fort Collins, Colorado. Friday and Saturday, February 24 & 25 both at 7:30 PM at Fort Collin's First United Methodist Church, 1005 Stover Street.
  • Denver Art Song Project presents Shakespeare's Songs with Eapen Leubner and Mallory Bernstein. Thursday, February 23, 2017 at 6 p.m. Syntax Physic Opera, 554 S Broadway, Denver AND Sunday, February 26, 2017 at 1 p.m. Wash Park Center for Music and Arts 400 S. Williams Street, Denver.

March 2017
  • Michael Hoffman sings Tamino in CU Eklund Opera’s Magic Flute March 17-19 in Macky Auditorium
  • Colleen White plays Sir James Galway Master Class  Tuesday, March 21 1:30-4 p.m. Grusin Music Hall at CU. Legendary flutist Sir James Galway will work with four students from the CU flute studio.
  • Sarah Biber (cellist) is playing a concert in Wash Park as part of the Happy Hour Concerts (happyhourconcerts.org) on March 31st.  It is a baroque concert featuring the music of Bach, on what we now believe to be his Birthday!   The concert will be at Epiphany Lutheran Church in Denver.

  • Adam Ewing (baritone) joins Regis University as Affiliate Faculty of Voice and appears as Schaunard in La Boheme with the Colorado Symphony at Boettcher Auditorium October 21-23 and Haydn's Creation with Pro Musica in Boulder October 28-29
  • Ian Wisekal (oboe) plays with Lamont Symphony Orchestra "Ode to Nature," world premiere by Zhou Jiaojiao, featuring dancers, instrumental soloists, traditional Chinese musicians, and singers. Will also have multimedia elements and costumes!
