Closing another great season culminates in an audience interactive event with a highly varied program including improvisation! We are so honored to have visiting artists Ann Baltz, Kristin Gornstein (mezzo), and Ryan Drickey (violin/fiddle) join regular performer and MC Christie Conover (soprano).

January 6, 2018 Boulder Concert
We'll close the holiday season with the flaming of the plum pudding at our Boulder Concert on January 6. Margot has been "feeding" it with brandy and looks forward to continuing our FTS tradition! January's Boulder concert features all CU affiliated performers including Sara Parkinson, Malcolm Ulbrick, Nicolò Spera, and Christie Conover.

SO many good things to look forward to in December! FTS will kick it off right with concerts in Boulder on Dec. 2 and Denver Dec. 3. Margot will flame her figgy pudding in Denver but don't worry, she'll do it again in Boulder in January. November 4, 2017 Boulder Concert
Voices abound in our November Boulder Concert. We welcome Dr. Willem Van Schalkwyk from UNC Greeley with Josh DeVane (baritone), Ekaterina Kotcherguina (soprano), and Christie Conover (soprano). After three years of exceptional food, musicians, and fellowship in Boulder, we are excited to bring our Fine Tuned Society to Denver! We coincide our October date with full autumn colors so the golden leaves in Cheesman will be a beautiful sight from the penthouse.

October 7, 2017 Boulder Concert
Here Come the Changes!
After saying farewell to Margot's lovely home, our October concert will be held at St. Aidan's church in Boulder. Also note we are changing our format to an Afternoon Tea. What fun!
Sarah Rushing and her piano quartet will be previewing her Doctoral Recital Program for the concert portion. Musicians featured are Sarah Rushing (piano), Sharon Park (violin), Stephanie Mientka (viola), and Zach Reaves (cello).

September 8, 2017 Boulder House Concert
Our 2017/18 season has changes to come and we ask you to help us embrace them, but for now we will begin with the same format as our previous concerts at the home of Margot Crowe.
This month's program is titled Clara and Company. Clara Wieck Schumann was one of the most gifted pianists of her generation, as well as a composer in her own right. She was also beloved by two of the most influential men of music: her husband Robert and her life-long friend Johannes Brahms. Musicians featured are Sara Parkinson (piano), Phillip Stevens (viola), and Christie Conover (soprano). Click on the musician names to learn more about each.
